11ú Lá Mí Feabhra 2008 Have re-written and re-recorded the main vocal lines for "An Cailleach". Am now adding a new introduction to the song. This is a long slow process but the tune is really beginning to take shape (I really hope that "The Dusking of a New Day" will not take as long).
5ú Lá Mí Na Nollag 2007 The Main Vocals for "An Cailleach" have now been finished. Backing vocals are currently being added along with Mandolin and Cláirseach.
27ú Lá Mí Na Samhna 2007 Just to keep the updates flowing..... "An Cailleach 'gus an Bárd Bocht" is half-way through recording at the moment. The Drums, Cellos, Double Bass and Pianos are sorted. The recording of the Cretian Lyre is proving a little contrary at the moment. The Cláirseach and Vocals will follow.
6ú Lá Mí Mean Fomhair 2007 The First tune (An Raibh Tú ar an gCarraig) off the Fáinne na h-Óiche EP is now up on the Uaigneas myspace site. The next song to be butchered is An Cáilleach 'gus an Bárd Bocht.
23ú Lá Mí Lúnasa 2007 Am currently in the middle of recording the first Uaigneas EP. So far the guide tracks have been done for The Dusking of a New Day and An Cailleach 'gus an Bárd Bocht while the main focus on the last week has been on the Uaigneas take on An Raibh Tú ar an Carraig. These tracks will be released as an EP limited to 500 copies by the year's end.
24ú Lá Mí Meitheamh 2007 Have just put a three minute experimental track up on our myspace site which I recorded at Deasmumhan studios over the weekend. It turned out quite well so I decided to stick it on-line. It was my first time recording with Cláirseach, Low Whistle, Mandolin and Cretian Lyre and have moved a step closer to the recording of the first Uaigneas EP.
24ú Lá Mí Márta 2007 The studio in which the first Uaigneas E.P. is to be recorded is situated in the wilds of Deasmumhan. Nick Ryan is to be the man at the helm. Recording was due to take place over five days at the end of April 2007 but has had to be postponed due to other musical commitments.
14ú Lá Mí Márta 2007 At present an E.P. is being put together which will include the songs The Dusking of a New Day, An Raibh Tú ar an Carraig (A traditional Irish Tune) and An Cailleach 'gus an Bárd Bocht.
